Landon Tyree Faulconer, 19, of Harrisonburg and formerly of Clemmons, NC passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his residence.

Landon was born in Nashville, TN, January 24, 1998. He spent most of his life in Clemmons, NC where he attended Clemmons First Baptist Church. He later moved with his family to Harrisonburg. He was a 2016 Graduate of Harrisonburg High School and also graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth Challenge in Virginia Beach. Landon Tyree Faulconer, 19, of Harrisonburg and formerly of Clemmons, NC passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his residence.

Landon was born in Nashville, TN, January 24, 1998. He spent most of his life in Clemmons, NC where he attended Clemmons First Baptist Church. He later moved with his family to Harrisonburg. He was a 2016 Graduate of Harrisonburg High School and also graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth Challenge in Virginia Beach. Landon had a passion for helping people and he was studying to become a firefighter and EMT and volunteered with the Harrisonburg Fire Department. Landon was known for his constant smile, he loved the water, spending time with his brothers and his sweetheart Iris.

He is survived by his parents, James Randall "Randy" Faulconer and Donna Nichols Faulconer of Harrisonburg; three brothers, Nolan Faulconer of Harrisonburg, Aaron Faulconer of Greensboro, NC and Houston Faulconer of Alexandria; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Audrey Faulconer of Madison Heights; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Nancy Nichols of Hopewell and his sweetheart Iris O'Hara of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by a number of loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other extended family.

A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton and the Rev. Merle Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Briarwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service from 11 am to 1 pm.

Because of Landon's love for fire service, the family request memorial contributions be made to your local volunteer fire or EMS agency.
